Revamping Real Estate
One of our recent clients was an apartment group in the Philadelphia area. With mobile changing how leasers search for properties, they were struggling with their apartment marketing strategy. Since its customers are frequently on the move, they turned to us to update and optimize their website for mobile use. The group also wanted to reach new potential renters for specific properties. Finally, the group was struggling from some negative reviews and wanted to improve its online reputation.
We created adaptive websites for seven Philadelphia-area properties. Each was optimized for all devices and included a video, created entirely in-house, that featured the major selling points of the property and the surrounding area. We also incorporated our exclusive TextAnytime (SM) feature. This enabled potential renters to ask questions to our own chat representatives 24 hours a day, as we know that renters seeking a new residence frequently do so outside normal business hours.
In order to attract new potential renters, we created a mobile advertising campaign using Facebook and other mobile ad networks. We analyzed the demographics of typical renters for each property and geo-targeted look-alike audiences.
Finally, through our reputation monitoring, we brought negative online reviews to the property managers. We then received their responses and worked to remedy any outstanding problems. Moreover, through text message marketing and a more visible location on the new website, we encouraged existing renters to post positive reviews for our properties. In effect, this diminished the impact of the existing negative ones.
The re-vamped marketing campaign created a 57% lift in page views and the average time spent on the site increased almost 600%. Most importantly, the campaign produced a 100% occupancy rate less than two months after its launch.
